Four years ago, Christ saved me when I was at Youth for Christ Rwanda’s School of Leadership and Discipleship (SLD). While I rejoiced in the hopes and Joy of  salvation, and while waiting with eagerness for the glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ,  I never imagined how God would radically redirect my life through Tubasange’ s Discipleship and Mission (DM2) program.

I’m forever grateful to God for using  Mr. Claude NDAYISABA, a GBUR staff invited me to a two-months residential Discipleship Mission Training (DM2) at Tubasange Mission Agency. I came with limited understanding of missions, and I had never truly grasped God’s heart for the unreached.

Through DM2, my perspective was completely  transformed. I came to understand that God loves all nations, yet many of them remain unreached. I was really shocked to hear that some people have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ once in their lives. This revelations ignited a burning passion and burden in my heart to pray for them and partner with missionaries in reaching out to them with what they need the most- The Gospel of Jesus Christ .

Though powerful courses like Kairos, Go revealed Himself to me in a profound way. He gave me a clear vision of my role in His mission and erased all my fears.  I fully grasped how my skills fit into reaching the unreached and the biblical basis for every believer’s missionary mandate. The question was no longer “Should I go?” but “How can I not go?” At the end of the training I committed my self to serve as a GBUR Staff as I wait on the Lord for more clarifications upon my calling and to be serving my fellow Rwandese!

Today, after a full year in this service, I stand in full confidence that I m in the right place and I  have no doubt that the Lord is preparing me accordingly as he shapes and sharpen my arrow.

I wholeheartedly recommend DM2 to every believer who desires to align with God’s heart for the nations. You will never be the same! Surely, Jesus said the Truth when he said ” The harvest is plentiful, but the laborer’s are few. Pray the Lord of harvest to send the Laboure’s.” – Matthew 9:37-38
