Mobilization through Kairos Course in Kinyarwanda

May 17, 2024Amakuru

After 10 years of translating the Kairos Course into Kinyarwanda, we have finally completed the translations of all the materials. Many participants needed the course in Kinyarwanda because they were high school graduates who did not get the chance to continue their studies at universities. We also had a few college students and graduates in the marketplace who chose to read the book in English. This course showed us the need for both English and Kinyarwanda books, but explanations and videos in Kinyarwanda brought a clear understanding of the materials.

Outcomes of the Kairos Course:

After the course, we realized that we had three categories of participants:

  • Those needing foundational discipleship: We grouped them to meet for a Bible study to help them grow as Disciples of Christ.
  • Participants from the Anglican Church Remera Parish: They formed a group to practice praying for missionaries, supporting them, and sharing the Gospel with internationals in Kigali.
  • Participants from various churches: They will support missionaries through Tubasange initiatives.
