Day 1 of the conference during the welcoming ceremony<\/p><\/div>\n

Our Hearts are filled\u00a0with great joy for the organized Rwanda Mission Conference under the theme: \u201cGospel Partnership in God\u2019s Mission\u201d. For the first time, we brought together 12 organizations (TUBASANGE, GBUR, CAPRO-Rwanda, YFC-Rwanda, MCN-Rwanda, Navigators-Rwanda, NCM, WIM, AEE-Rwanda, Kairos Africa, World Venture and Kairos course-Rwanda). Many of the leaders knew each other, but we had never been intentional about organizing or mobilizing together the Church of Rwanda to participate in the Great Commission\u2014until now. It wasn\u2019t easy, and I (Pacifique) found it challenging to unite these leaders, but the impact of our demonstration of unity was undeniable. Students and professionals were deeply moved, and many are now asking to work with churches as we prepare for the next Rwanda Mission Conference. It will be a challenge, but one that is worthy for the sake of Christ\u2019s Kingdom.<\/p>\n

What is the Rwanda Mission Conference?<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The\u00a0Rwanda Mission Conference\u00a0is an annual gathering aimed at inspiring, equipping, and mobilizing Christians in Rwanda to engage in the Great Commission. This year, we held\u00a0three days<\/strong>\u00a0dedicated to\u00a0students and professionals<\/strong>, followed by a final one-day event that brought together leaders from various churches and organizations. The conference serves as a platform for believers to be challenged by God\u2019s call to missions, build relationships with others passionate about the Gospel, and commit to practical steps in supporting and participating in missions.<\/p>\n

Participation and Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n

With around\u00a0250 participants<\/strong>\u00a0in attendance, including students, professionals, and church leaders, the conference made a profound impact. Here\u2019s how God worked through us:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\u2022\u00a0Hearts for The Mission:\u00a0<\/strong>The conference stirred a deep passion for missions in the hearts of attendees. Many participants committed to financially and prayerfully supporting missionaries, igniting a fire for evangelism. These commitments were more than promises; they were life-altering decisions to serve the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Evangelism on Campuses:<\/strong>\u00a0A growing number of students now see their universities as mission fields. They are taking their studies seriously with the goal of using their future careers as platforms for evangelism and outreach.<\/p>\n

One participant,\u00a0Ishimwe\u00a0Charite,<\/strong>\u00a0shared,\u00a0\u201cI am going to start evangelizing my colleagues on campus, supporting GBUR\u00a0campus\u00a0staff and missionaries from September, and attending TUBASANGE monthly prayer.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Learning From The Word:<\/strong>\u00a0A key moment was the Bible exposition on Philippians, which moved many to deeper reflections on Christian living.\u00a0Niyongabo\u00a0Celine\u00a0<\/strong>reflected,\u00a0\u201cI have learned that God’s love is so immense to send us His one and only Son, Jesus. We should also live in God’s love and in humility as servants to one another. I also learned to live a life of generosity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Mobilizing Leaders<\/strong>:\u00a0Many participants, from students to professionals, feel called to mobilize others within their spheres of influence for missions.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Called to Reach The Unreached Peoples<\/strong>:\u00a0One participant has already enrolled in CAPRO\u2019s School of Mission with a specific call to serve in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Reaching Cities:<\/strong>\u00a0A strong conviction emerged to reach the\u00a0cities\u00a0where most\u00a0unreached people groups\u00a0are found today.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Family as Mission:\u00a0<\/strong>Attendees left inspired to bring the Gospel to their families, turning their homes into places of spiritual transformation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The Ripple Effect of Unity<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The demand for collaboration has grown. Many have asked us to partner with local churches for the next Rwanda Mission Conference, which is incredibly exciting. Though I know it will be more difficult to bring together even more people next time, I am convinced it is worth it\u2014for Christ and His Kingdom.<\/p>\n

We are eager to see how God will continue to use this unity to mobilize the Church in Rwanda for His glory.<\/p>\n
