\"\"The journey of Ardin and Nadine began four years ago when they joined Tubasange’ s Mission School shortly after their wedding in 2021. Initially, our plan was to send them to Tunisia, but through prayer and discernment\u2014together with their church\u2014it became clear earlier this year that God was leading them back to Guinea, where Ardin had previously lived.<\/p>\n

This deployment is significant in many ways:<\/strong> it’s the first time Tubasange is sending a couple with three children, and the first time we are sending missionaries to West Africa. Until now, most of our missionaries have been single at the time of deployment, and primarily sent within East Africa.\u00a0We see this as a sign that God is using the Rwandan Church to bless Francophone Africa\u2014especially since many Rwandans, like Ardin, are French speakers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this newsletter, we share photos capturing Ardin and Nadine\u2019s journey of preparation, their commissioning service on July 19th, and their farewell event on July 31st. The strong turnout from their church, family, friends, and Tubasange partners is a testimony of the support surrounding them.<\/p>\n

We look forward with hope and prayer to see a church planted among the Fulani<\/em>, and local churches in Conakry mobilized to reach out to the Fulani and many other unreached peoples of Guinea.\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

Mobilizing The Church to Befriend Muslims<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Rwanda is home to a growing number of international students from Sudan and other African countries, alongside our own Rwandan Muslim communities. One of the key burdens on the hearts of Pacifique, Assumpta, and the Tubasange leadership team is to see the Rwandan Church actively engaging Muslims\u2014especially those from other nations who now live among us.<\/p>\n

In partnership with\u00a0Encountering the World of Islam<\/em>\u00a0(EWI), Tubasange hosted two prominent speakers:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Dr. Keith Swartley<\/strong>\u00a0(USA), author of\u00a0EWI<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0God\u2019s Love for Muslims<\/em>, and<\/li>\n
  • Dr. Timothy Olonade<\/strong>\u00a0(Nigeria), who developed\u00a0STEM<\/em>\u2014Strategic Training in Evangelizing Muslims<\/li>\n
  • .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    They led a three-day training of\u00a015 participants\u00a0and a one-day conference of around\u00a0200 participants\u00a0with the goal of equipping the Rwandan Church to befriend and witness to Muslims with love and intentionality.<\/p>\n

    We thank God for the powerful outcomes. Many participants overcame their fears and discovered new confidence in approaching Muslims with compassion. Several made commitments to pray weekly for their Muslim friends and intentionally connect with them.\u00a0Just this week, we rejoiced to hear that one of the Muslims whom Joseph had been befriending and praying for has come to faith in Christ!<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Pacifique and Assumpta continue building relationships with Sudanese students. We are grateful that spiritual conversations have already begun.<\/p>\n

    DM2 Program \u2013 Holiday Discipleship & Mission for College Students<\/strong><\/h1>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    The\u00a0DM2 Program<\/em>\u00a0(Discipleship and Mission 2 months residential program) began on July 20th<\/sup>\u00a0with 15 participants. In just two weeks, the students are already catching the fire! The program runs until September 7th, and God is clearly at work.<\/p>\n

    A major highlight for the students is the devotional\u00a0Calling<\/em>\u00a0by Jeff Lewis, which has reshaped their understanding of life and mission. It shows from Scripture that calling is not reserved for a few, but is part of every believer\u2019s life\u2014sanctification, witnessing, service.<\/p>\n

    They are also being challenged and enriched by:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Pacifique’ s teaching on the Gospel \u2014seeing the Gospel beyond just personal salvation.<\/li>\n
    • Noel\u2019s sessions on spiritual disciplines.<\/li>\n
    • Pastor Hortense\u2019s teaching on what it means to be a disciple and the cost of following Jesus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      We continue to walk with these young people and trust God for even more transformative fruit in the weeks ahead.<\/p>\n
