Dear Partners,<\/p>\n

As we look back on October and November our\u00a0hearts are full of gratitude<\/strong>. These past two months have been marked by meaningful travel, rich fellowship, renewed partnerships, and the joy of witnessing lives transformed by the gospel. From gathering with mission mobilizers across Africa, to pouring into university students hungry to understand what it means to live\u00a0\u201call in<\/em>\u201d for Jesus, to walking alongside missionaries and emerging leaders, we have been reminded again and again that God is writing a much bigger story for His glory.<\/p>\n

After a very busy two-month DM2 program, our family traveled to Kenya for two important conferences: the\u00a0African Mission Conference\u00a0<\/strong>organized by the Africa Mission Association and the\u00a0Perspectives Africa Huddle<\/strong>. Both events were encouraging as we connected with other African mission mobilizers. It was also a good opportunity to reconnect with friends in Kenya and visit the family of Alain and Rachel, TUBASANGE missionaries serving at the coast, who were in Nairobi after welcoming their third child. We thank God for this family, who cared for Ayah and Amayah while we enjoyed fellowship with fellow mobilizers and African missionaries<\/p>\n

Navigators student camp<\/p><\/div>\n

After returning from Kenya, we traveled the next day to Rubavu for a\u00a0two-day student camp organized by Navigators Rwanda<\/strong>, where Pacifique was the main and only speaker. The topic given was\u00a0\u201cAll In for Jesus.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 Pacifique helped the students think through what it means to live fully for Christ and His mission. We thank God for the feedback from students and organizers, who shared how the message impacted them.<\/p>\n

Follow-up with DM2 Graduates<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

Visiting DM2 graduates and their friends at UR Busogo<\/p><\/div>\n

As part of our follow-up and encouragement efforts, we\u00a0visited DM2 graduates<\/strong>\u00a0who are still studying at UR Busogo and UR Butare. It was encouraging to hear how God is using them on their campuses. Many are now leaders in Christian associations, actively involved in evangelism, especially among new students, and developing plans for discipleship.
\nWe continue meeting them in different settings to revisit the commitments they made during DM2.<\/p>\n

Assumpta has also started a once-a-month study with the ladies who completed DM2 this year, helping them continue growing as godly women. They are studying\u00a0Keeping a Quiet Heart<\/em>\u00a0by Elisabeth Elliot, reading the book individually and meeting to discuss insights together.<\/p>\n

We thank God for the continued growth of our\u00a0member care ministry<\/strong>. The team has been visiting missionaries who are in Rwanda for rest and preparation before returning to the field. They visited the families of Noblesse and Rachel, and they also visited Emilie. These visits have been a great encouragement, showing the missionaries that the member care team is faithful in supporting them.<\/p>\n

The team also cares for missionaries online, setting up virtual meetings to talk and pray with them. This is in addition to the monthly prayer meeting held every first Sunday, organized by Tubasange for Rwandan missionaries and the church. We thank God that this initiative, which began in October 2018, continues to this day.<\/p>\n

Mission Mobilization on Campuses<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

We continue mobilizing students through our partnership with GBU. At the start of this new academic year, we were invited to lead mission awareness seminars at GBU UR Remera, led by Noblesse, and at\u00a0GBU RP Kicukiro<\/strong>, where Pacifique spoke.\u00a0We thank God that our ministry is having a growing impact in GBU<\/strong>, which is reflected in the increasing number of chapters organizing mission awareness seminars.<\/p>\n

Mission Mobilization in Local Churches<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Sunday service at Assemblies of God Kimihurura<\/p><\/div>\n

The mission school students have begun a new initiative to help\u00a0mobilize local churches.<\/strong>\u00a0They decided to visit one student\u2019s local church each month. We started with\u00a0Assemblies of God Kimihurura<\/strong>, where they were given time to preach about missions and share testimonies. Pamela, who will be going to the mission field after her graduation shared the Friday service, and Rachel, who is preparing to go with her husband to South Sudan, shared on the Sunday service.<\/p>\n

Growth of the Perspectives Movement in Rwanda<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

For the first time, Perspectives Rwanda has\u00a0trained its own instructors and coordinators<\/strong>. This is an important milestone in the growth of the movement in Rwanda. Previously, the global team handled the training. Now we have more instructors who can teach at least one lesson of the course. We were able to train five new instructors whom we believe are well experienced in ministry, and some are leaders and pastors of local churches.<\/p>\n
