The impact of this Kairos course on Yves Tanga
In 2017, I prayed the whole year asking God to tell me what He specifically wanted me to do with my life as a believer.
Despite the fact that I had spent years in the local church, but I had not believed the Gospel till 2017. So the passion was burning after I encountered and accepted the Gospel Message.
At the end of the year God convinced my heart that I would be a pastor, something I had never thought of before.
I ignore that inner voice but as time went by, it grew stronger and stronger. Finally my heart said YES.
Now, since I joined Kairos, every single chapter has spoken to me in a very specific way with a great emphasis that I should live for one reason: THE MISSION OF CHRIST IN THIS WORLD. It also confirmed my call, something I felt even before joining Kairos, to be a mobilizer and sender no matter what the ministry I would be involved in.
Learning that Mission is the reason for my life and for the lives of all believers was the greatest takeaway from this course. I understood that anything any Christian does must be in connection with mission in some ways. It does not matter what profession a believer is doing, Mission is always to be the driving force.
Decisions and the way of life must be defined in the lenses of the great commission. I understood that living for the Mission is actually the only God-pleasing life I can ever live. I decided to align my life, my ministries, my work, my relationships etc with this worthy cause of saving souls.
As a Pastor, God’s heart for the lost will be at the centre of the ministry I will lead in all of its aspects. Praise God for this NOBLE WORK (Yves Tanga)
